I had a great ride with some buddies from work yesterday. Our route was:
Starting at Lamar, Arkansas north on 21 and 43 through Boxley Valley to Ponca. After a visit at the Elk Center we doubled back to 21 and on north to Berryville then 62 to Eureka Springs. After lunch and hanging out in Eureka Springs, took 23 south to Cass. We took 215 to Oark, then the county road to Catalpa, where the pavement ends. We stopped at the General Store in Catalpa for some pie, then turned around and went south to Clarksville. The weather was nice and cook in the morning, but it warmed up into the upper 70's in the afternoon with lots of sunshine. The fog in the valleys with the sunshine was stunning, especially in Boxley.

We're getting into the best time of year to ride. Get out there and enjoy it!

Next time try the 5540 road east of there to hook up with AR21, from Oark.

An interesting trip for sure. They have a lot of nerve calling that a road.

Never been that way, but from what I've heard I will take your word for it. :nojoke:
