I'm fairly fresh off another great trip largely enabled by the magnificent work of Ed Conde of NER and his colleagues/friends. The dude is a national treasure. Lots of energy put into a magnificent library of carefully curated ride info.

It's all super accessible if you can use BaseCamp or otherwise make do with a GPX file. And if you want to learn how to do that, the best guide I've seen is there, too (follow Home > GPS in the left menu).

No personal connection, no financial interest, just a beneficiary of his/their efforts and spreading the good word. This has been posted around here somewhere but deserves to be again.

Ed is a member here (epconde) and has collected great info. Their website is a tremendous asset. The group has a very active facebook site but their forum is not used much.

Dale's tips are very valuable, indeed. Had the book 2 years ago, I had no idea about these routes before. It's been a long time since the last east coast ride I've been through.. Sounds like it's time for another!
