·Just put stones on the wing. What's the best pressure to run?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Your front tire in photo looks like the older style Bridgestone . Do you have the wobble at low speed with 41 lbs.I am running 41 on both ends. Came from someone that uses stones exclusively.
No offense, but there's something wrong with your bike.Best ride and handling 1 up: 36 fnt. 38 rear
2 up: 38 fnt. 41 rear
The Bridgestone "front" tire in paticularly is high pressure sensitive. Anything above say 38 psi and it gets all quirky and wanders and needs constant correction.
No offense taken, nothing is wrong with my bike other than it's stock suspension. I ride nut'in but wicked twisties on our Appalachian mountain roads. With Bridgestones I usually get anywhere from 8 to 10K to the wear bars with minimal to no cupping. 41 psi will make a stock suspended Wing ride too harshly and a Stone follow road imperfections. No offense, but there's something wrong with your bike.
I dare say there are damn few riders who do the miles we do and even fewer who put their tires and machine through what I do.
Stoner front wears out about 14 to 15K with ZERO CUPPING!!! I run em till the wear bars touch the street and get new rubber. For those who really want to push.. 19k is NOT out of the question on a stoner front tire running 41 psi.
Personally, I run 41f (stoner) and 42 rear (metzler)
