Here is the question Are the selling prices compatible with the KBB or what is the going rate for a 1500 this one come with lots chrome, 2 newer helmets with intercoms, a custom over, oversized windshield, Looks to be very nice. Additionally what things should I look for on the bike? thanks if anyone can help with this call me @ 309-620-2855 I need to know quick.

It may be a great bike, but with the financing at lows, a new one would seem to me to be the way to go. JMHO

It really depends on what you want & how handy you are.
The '89 1500, while a good motorcycle, is 20 yrs. old. Many shops won't work on a motorcycle that old.
There is NO COMPARISON between the GL 1500 & the GL 1800.
The TRUE VALUE of ANY used motorcycle is what the buyer is willing to pay for it, regardless of the asking price.
If i wanted a 1500 i would not buy anything older than a '00.
If i wanted an 1800 & could not buy new, I'd look for an '05 & up.
There are many to choose from, & right now it seems like it's a buyers market.
happy trails,
the hobo
