Bike Week Luncheon: Good turnout

I got back from Daytona Beach a few hours ago. We had a really good turnout for a Wed. Many members and guest stoped by at the Whistle Junction Buffet for lunch. I got to meet some members that I have seen many times on the board, but never got to meet. Wheels (Spokes) was there in person and didn't disappoint anyone with his humor. Wingnuttz from Colorado was also present and great to finally meet him. Many pictures were shot and I would think they will be posted later when everyone gets back home and online.

Never mind the name tag haters. Who told TJ that it was going to be "formal". First time I've ever seen him wearing a shirt with sleeves...:lol:

Okay,, If wheels is really in SUNNY Fl. why is he wearing his winter Honda jacket....
It looks like the same type of jacket I've been wearing up here in the north country....
Maybe FL. isn't what they're trying to play it up to be..
Glad you guys had a good time,, maybe one of these years I'll be able to RIDE my bike down for the get together...
Sounds like the girls had fun at the lunch today:lol:
Did they welcome you with open arms?
Yes, it was a very nice time. Good to see everyone. Good turnout for sure.

Wayne, Tequila Roy, and I met a couple of Roy's friends (I went just so I could confirm that he really does have friends:lol::lol::lol:) on Main Street for a couple of beers and a few of the sights. Crowd seemed to be WAY DOWN this year. Easy to get a beer and get a picture with the girls. Even the Tee-shirt shops were pretty empty today. Good time for sure!!!!

Pictures later.
It was nice to meet dave and wheels today.

We all had a good time and the food was pretty good as well. Hope to see more on Friday!!!!
Just shy of a thousand miles roundtrip for me. Got home last night around 9:30p.

Lots of riding, meeting some new friends and seeing some old ones. Not bad for a 24 hour period.

Wish I could make it again tomorrow.
We had a great time visiting and eating with everyone on Wed. It was really nice to be able to put a face to a name. Thanks Wheels for telling us about the lunch on Tuesday when we met. Some really great pics here on the site.

Thanks everyone!

It was cold at bike week this year. Sunny and cold for most of the week, the weather could have been alot better.....the warmest weather of the week was on the ride home :p
I'll add my two cents. I thought the day was near perfection, great weather, the traffic wasn't bad, but most of all I finally got to put faces with the names. I love meeting new people who ride Wings. It seems like instant friendship, what a wonderful bunch of people.

Was great meeting some of the members...this was my first lunch with the group, so did not get to meet everyone. I and a buddy of mine sat at the table with Brian, and also got to talk with Trialsman as he was leaving.

We spent Saturday night in Marianna, Fl. going down to Daytona, and it was snowing Sunday AM before we left around 8AM. It was pretty cool all week, except Wednesday warmed up some. Was 38 degrees when we left Thursday AM coming home...we made Shreveport by 10:30PM(stopped to eat...took about an hour), and I pulled out again Friday at 11:30 headed for Corpus Christi. Just now got a chance to get online and check out some of the pics. My trike is #6 of 59 on tjranch1's website.

Great to meet Brian, trialman, wheels, and others! Hopefully we can get to know more of y'all next time!!

Thanks, Brian, for all your efforts!!

First time at Bike Week. I was invited to tag along with my BMW friends and did not make it to the lunch. Their plans included mostly races. Had a great time, weather was cooler than I would have liked. Attended all the bike races at the flat track and the speedway. No time for the Main Street party. But there will next year. I've learned my way around and look forward to meeting some of you then. In the meantime, keep safe and have fun!!!!

PS...you know those Beamer guys are fun too!!!!
