I was not bashing the IBA, rather I was simply stating facts, and I certainly did not mention a single name. Yes, I was aware of the possibility of a 3 month wait.

My ride was June 3, my check cleared my bank on September 14. That's 3 months and according to both Mr. Agins and Kneebone, the fact that the check is cashed means the ride has been certified. Now add 4 more months to that time period for receipt of the certification. That's more than twice as long as expected. I emailed the IBA in October, November, and December. Each time they replied that the paperwork was on the way soon.

My opinion is that if it will take 6 or seven months, then advertise it as such instead of making excuses for an extended wait. I've gotten new Dunlops quicker than that.
