Please note that the National Park Service is reporting a new (second) slide between mile post 269.8 and 280.9. See http://www.nps.gov/blri/planyourvisit/roadclosures.htm
for details. Expected to require detour through Fall 2009.

No big deal, the best part of the BRP is from HWY 276 to HWY 19. So
if the rest of it was closed no one would miss it.... :thumbup:

Some folks sure have stong opinions! But you sure aren't speaking for me.

There isn't one mile of the Parkway or the Skyline Drive that I want to see taken away. Surely some parts are undeniably prettier than others. But it all fits together quite well
