I know there are alot of Stones fans out there (Bridgestones not the rock group) and I would like to know what air pressure you recommend for these. I just had the Dunlops removed today and had the G709 installed on the front and G704 installed on the rear.

I meant to ask the installer what pressures are recommended for these but my wife got to shopping for stuff there and I got involved with that and forgot to ask the question. I kept 41 on the Dunlop front and 42 to 43 on the rear. Would you recommend the same on the Stones?

How about it Red?

Wow...thanks for the quick responses guys! This forum is great! So far 41 psi seems to be the consensus which is where I was kind of expecting it to come in.

Thanks!

Rob - I run 38 in the front and 41 in the rear. That seems to work well for me. My last front G709 had over 17,000 miles and no cupping so I was pleased with it's performance (although a good friend always runs 36 lbs. in his front G709 and pretty consistently gets between 20,000 all the way up to 25,000 miles on his G709 (and little to no cupping).

Thanks Dale...that's good to know. Running the front at 38 will give a better ride and it sounds like the milage won't be too bad either. I think I will give that a try.

I run 38-41. They seem to wear perfect. I've tried the 40 psi in the frt. Makes the tire rock hard to me.

I use a good digital gauge and I'm anal about checking before every ride.

That's it then...38 and 41. Thanks Red, I knew I could count on you for any advice when it comes to Bridgestones!

I'm running 36 front and 41 rear.

The front is giving me a consistent 20.000 miles and the rear 12.000 miles that way.

No need to up the pressure on the front for me.

I ran 38-40 on the front, 41-43 on the rear tire.

Rear tire scalloped & got noisy at 12.5+ miles. Still have the tire and wheel, may reinstall for in town useage

I ran the front tire almost 18k miles. Still had a little more rubber , but I was getting ready for a trip
