Are the Bridgestone tires I can buy as replacements today, different from the tires that came on my 2001 Wing?
Did they make any design or compound changes since then? I've since switched to Dunlops, but if the Bridgestones give any better mileage now, I might go back to them.
Thanks to all who respond, in advance. 8)

Same rear, but a different tread on the front. I doubt you will see a increase in mileage out of the new Stones versus the OEM that was on your '01.

deaconbob - Bridgestone came out with a newer model front tire in the fall of 2002 in response to problems of cupping in the original OEM model that was on your 2001 Wing. I've had several sets of the new G709 and think it's a significantly better tire and my mileage did go up about 25% and my cupping was eliminated. The G704 rear tire is the same as before

Personally, I prefer the Stones over the Lops and the now defunct Metz (front that is), but we all have our favorites. If you haven't tried the Bridgestone G709 front I think you'll like it.
