Hate to start a new thread when the answer is probably out there...been reading for two hours and my eyes are buggy....I'm wanting to convert to the Dark Side...

so....can I use the stock 5-16 wheel?

Leaning Pirelli for now, with Stone 709 front. Have a 2500 mile trip coming up so want to move on this quickly.

Have a Kumho ECSTA 195/55/R16 coming from Tirerack.com

Even got a quick lecture about how dangerous it is to do this...blah blah blah

Will keep looking...

What part of Dallas. If you know where Van, Texas is, there is a little shop off I-20 that will put it on no problem. They also use only Dyna beads for balance. It might be worth your time.
Hard to believe a custom shop somewhere won't do it. You would have to take it offf the bike though.

Good Hunting
