Would have loved to join in if I did not have other plans this weekend.
Please plan it again and we'll join in.

Turned out to be just me and my friend Pawel (breaking in his new-to-him F6B).

The ride was Awesome! Had one minor hitch in that the planned "Jawbone Cyn Rd" turned into Dirt about 10 miles in... Forest Ranger on site suggested that we not go further; so we back-tracked to Tehachapi, then Caliente Bodfish Rd (EPIC!), and continued on our merry way.

The destination, Sherman Pass, was great! I wish I could have got more pics, as the scenery was great (as typical in the Sierras).

I think our favorite road was M-50/Hot Springs Rd, headed east... wonderful high speed sweepers, on great pavement.

Thanks for the map and pics. I remember maybe 8 years ago or so we followed the river north from Kernville hoping to loop around to the west but the road was closed because of snow. Don’t think I’ve ever done Sherman Pass either. On the list! ?

I see that SC-MA is having a "Five Passes" ride on August 7-8, riding from Bakersfield to Sonora on Day 1, and from Sonora to Bishop in Day 2. I live in OC and am trying to find out if anyone from this area is planning to go on the ride. I would rather not ride all the miles by myself.

Here's the link to the SC-MA webpage with further information.

Anyone thinking of making this ride, please contact me.
