If not responding (while parked), try unhooking the negative battery cable for 20-30 minutes to allow the system to reset then try again.

Are you doing the adjustment attempts with the bike stationary?

After a bunch of not riding time, I forgot that it only adjusts when stationary and was frustrated trying to change it during a ride.

Tried this many times. won't move the icon at all. When going to other programs, the icons move to the new setting as they should. Just seems to be the load setting that is not responding to any inputs. Thanks for your thoughts. Will keep picking at it before taking it into shop.

 

Are you using the Left Handlebar Switch buttons to do this? I have have found that they let you navigate to the suspension preload setting but won't let you change it. You must use the big knob on the Center Panel Switch panel to set it.

You have to turn the knob to select the level you want. When it is highlighted, you then have to PUSH it to activate it. I suspect you are doing it properly. Use the main control knob and PUSH in when you want to SET it.

If all else fails, break out the owners manual and read it.
