Good Morning,
A friend of mine has a bike that is hard to start in the mornings or when cold...I read somewhere that if the carbon canister gets flooded it would send raw gas into the intake when starting and foul a couple of plugs..The canister normally stores gas vapors then recycles them via the intake when its working properly. But if it floods...---The reason it floods is hard to beleive...Supposedly because the bikes gas tank was filled to the brim then allowed to sit in the sunshine...

Anyone know where this thing lives...Oh yeah, its a 2000 1500 Valkrie and I thought maybe a former Valkrie owner might be out there somewhere that knows something about this...Any help/ Thanks

Tell your friend to change his spark plugs if his bike is hard to start. That is one of the main causes of hard starting.
Thanks Fred. I'll pass it along...
