Have the bike paired to the Cardo unit and the bike Nav volume at 30 (all the way up) and can barely hear the Nav directions while sitting still. And of course can't hear them at all while moving. Cardo's customer service is awful (more to that story). I have emailed them several times at their request because no one will answer the phone or return the call. After doing what they recommended, that did not work, I emailed them with results and haven't heard back in a month. I did get a satisfaction email survey which I marked that problem has still not been resolved; no reply.

If any of you have an idea what to check please advise.

I have the unit paired with Bluetooth to the bike and paired through the mesh system to my wife. Other than wind noise at times that works fine except Nav volume.

Independent of brand of Bluetooth you adjust volume of nav while it is speaking directions I’ve found.
When the nav cuts in to bt then quickly adjust volume otherwise you are just adjusting audio for radio etc

Have you been turning up the volume on the "Cardo Connect" app on your phone? I had a problem with the volume of the intercom between rider & passenger and Cardo told me to do it on the app- and that worked for me.

Went on the app and increase the volume on all the areas, however there is no Nav volume that I saw.

It can also be set when it's not talking- from the volume setting section of the menus OR from the nav menu bar that can be brought up across the bottom of a map screen.

I was having trouble catching it talking so I could adjust it, and then fortunately came across the other methods

Thanks for the input. As noted I have already gone to the nav menu and increased the volume to 30, which is as high as it goes. I have gone to the app and increased the volume in all areas. Did not see a specific nav volume on the app. I have not tried to change the volume while the nav is speaking (rmw700). I guess that is next.

Just switched from sena 10u for j-cruise to Packtalk Bold. Ease of use, voice etc is great very easily pairs and will allow my riding partner with 20s to pair I hope... but
Even with Jbl volume on everything is low and I have to crank up all volumes. Maybe eat placement since I didn’t use the Risers(?)
Could be sena 10u was custom fit fo Shoei

How loud is the volume on the unit? I usually have the bike's volume set to 14 or so, then use the the roller on the unit to get it loud enough to hear. That way I have a lot left on the bike's volume for both audio and nav. It is easier for me to adjust volume on the bike than on the unit as I am riding.

All the way
Have to do bike volume 15 plus
Usually around 10-12 for sena

You need to find someone with a Bold and pair it to your bike. See if that unit behaves the same. I don't think my unit is even close to all the way up.

Only other suggestion I have is to wear a pair of foamie ear plugs to block wind/road noise.

I know this may be a stupid question but since nothing else seems to have helped it’s worth a try - you do have the bike set to use headset and not speakers, right?
