ok guy´s ..................need support
Its the handheld cb on the handlebar
run new cable to the back and bought sierra cb/fm antenna (the better one they say)
have a swr/power meter with dummy load at the splitter
measure 4 watts on fm and 1 watt am when i "transmit" to the dummyload, swr is perfect afcours
now i switch to the antenna and tune again for swr (its 3 stripes out corner) and power is 2 watts max on fm and 0.5 on am
cb is ok and cable is ok................must be the antenna or the splitter.......so the question is.........is this a normal powerloss?

I gotta say I've been a ham radio operater for 25 or so years lots of radio's and no idea what your talking about?
you can't measure into a dummy load this dosen't mean any thing
am -fm transmit on one radio thats a handheld, never heard of that?
3 stripes out corner ===========unknown what you mean?
2 watts on a handheld sounds correct
last line ? does this radio transmit am-and fm?

measure your power transmit foward then measure reflected this will give you the swr rating, how much is reflected, the less the better
