Breaker Breaker Good Buddy....I am going to be buying a used CB ( but it hasn't been used much),I also am going to need an antenna...Which antenna do you recommend ?....Also, is there a website on how to install the CB ? Or do any of you know how to do it ??...requesting some help , Henry

Make sure you get all the filters with your used CB

Pretty straight forward install. When you get all your stuff together, let me know and perhaps I can walk you through it.

Henry.... I would suggest buying the Honda CB antenna.. Hal has a sale going on right now..

as far as install... look -- www.goldwingfacts.com .. for CB antenna install.. it has good info.. with pics...

C.B. Antenna

A lot of folks like the Sierra single antenna, replaces the radio antenna and doubles as both, seems as though they were about $96.00, could be wrong, there aren't any instructions that I was able to find (recently put my C.B. in) main problem I had, was, that there were two, three prong connectors under the seat, I of course picked the wrong one! I chose the black connector when in reality it should have been the clear. other than that........ pretty straight forward!

The Honda CB antenna is a low-quality antenna, you can do a whole lot better. You can improve the performance of your radio significantly by simply using a better antenna.

I replaced mine with the Firestik Firefly FL-4 ( http://www.firestik.com/CatalogFrame.htm ). The improvement in performance is very noticeable, especially in transmission range, but also for reception.
