Most groups use Ch. 1.

With these radios, you better holler quick or you will be out of range fast.

Usually channel 1. They work better when you are both going the same direction.

I've heard channel 1. On local rides it's channel 4. When out riding with someone else who has a radio we swap channels because the logging trucks use channel 1 and channel 4. Out on the highway I'll probably have channel 19 on. Odds are though unless I'm on the interstate or riding with someone else who has a radio I won't even have it turned on. 8)

I have been quit for 3 Weeks, 4 Days, 20 hours and 2 minutes (25 days). I have saved $116.25 by not smoking 775 cigarettes.

Channel 1.

Congratulations on stopping smoking, KamiSue! It was 5 years for me last October. I don't know how much I've saved but at 2 packs a day and the recent prices the savings are way more than my health club membership costs. :D

How come we don't use channel 18 ? ( for the 1800's )
There would be too much bleedover from the "Big Talkers" on Channel 19. The guys that are running "hot" would wipe our little radios out.
