Elmer, I have the same problem. After about an hour of riding, my CB stops transmitting and flashes "CB Error" on the display. I can still receive but can't transmit unless I shut off the CB for a few seconds. When I turn the CB back on, the cycle repeats after another hour or so.

If winter ever comes to Colorado and I can't ride everyday, I plan to tear down the bike and clean every connector and ground I can find. I'll keep you posted on my success or failure and hope you would do the same if you find out what causes this.
