The bracket and changer are held in place with 4 screws in wellnuts. Just look down next to the changer and you should see them. Remove those 4 screws and the harness, it should just lift out.

thanks but it is the changer I want to remove from the mount not the mount & changer.
Sorry! I thought there was only a few screws holding the changer to the mount after you removed it from the "hole". It's been awhile since I have fooled with them, but I thought it was straight forward when I did it. No real "gotchas".

Red is pretty much correct...
AFTER you remove the bracket from it's hole in the upper trunk and have disconnected the wiring connections under the seat...
there are 4 screws (2 on each side) of the changer that hold it in.

A long reach phillips screwdriver will work best to remove these screws. Then you can slide the changer out of the holder for replacement.
