Heading up to N. Georgia, N.C., and Tenn. this coming Saturday with the club from S Fla. Are we going to see any colors? Last year same week we only saw green and in S Fla. that's all we see. Our home base will be Maggy Valley.

Thirty to fifty per cent color depending on the elevation last week. It's beautiful. I left Maggie Valley Thursday morning October 5th. Enjoy.

The BRP south out of Asheville was pretty awesome last Thursday. 3000 ft and up are showing lots of color. Lots of fleaves falling now too. I'd say next Saturday will be ideal. Enjoy.

I did the BRP today from Boone to Cherokee. Some slopes were better than others. My biggest problem were the old fogies who thought 45 mph was way too fast. I guess they must have realized they had to be home before the street lights came on because I finally had most of the road to myself after 5 p.m.
