hi everyone, sorry to bother you with a minor question, but looking to purchase a pair of chrome pivot covers....any comments on ones you have bought ??...are there metal ones besides the plastic ones ?...Hondaline are too expensive...thanks in advance....

There are a few different styles of pivot covers now. They make plain chrome covers and covers with rubber scuff pads to protect the chrome cover from your boots. I went with the rub scuff pads because I like the contrast that the rubber pads give to the chrome covers as well as the scuff protection. You can also get the chrome frame covers with built in rub scuff pads that look very nice.

Here is a link to some very cool billet pivot covers made by Lamontster (could it be our very own Lamonster???) and sold by our sponsor. There is now a sale in progress from HDL so you can save some $$$ on these. They are a bit expensive but are actually chromed billet aluminum and not just chromed plastic.
