I've finally decided to quit rolling arouind on the garage floor every week, trying (with no great success) to keep my rear wheel looking right. I'm either going to powder coat the rear to match as closely the front, or get both chromed.

Since I've decided that if I go with powder coat on the rear only, I'll buy a spare wheel. Therefore, the cost of my two alternatives isn't really great.

Any comments?

Wheels

Just had mine powder coated. Color is called Chrome, look very close to factory color.

I like the chrome look, but if you are the kind of owner who doesn't like to wash the bike and wheels after the weekend rides than powder coating would be more durable because chrome will pit if it's not taken care off...especally the back wheel...but it only takes 10 minutes and a bucket of soapy water to wash chrome wheels to keep them looking nice.
