While I waiting for my new Kumho to get here, (should be here tomorrow if I can believe the dealer) I am thinking of clear coating the wheel. What have any of you guys used to do this and how well has it held up? I have found everything from clear enamel, acrylic enamel, acrylic laquer and clear ceramic engine paint on the store shelves. Any advice or information on this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

I have heard of riders having clear powder coat put on them. I have also read on the main board and tech board of riders trying to spray them with clear coat and the rims turned white looking after water got under the clearcoat. I clear coated my front rim black and it is far easier to keep clean and looking better than the raw aluminum.

Hoverlover.Acrylic laquer works for me. Frount and rear.

It does dull the shine somewhat. It's hard to tell the difference
