Should we not do it this time of year? Just a funky sudden thought l had. We'd do the southern route going from East to West. Will be pulling the "hack", so that should help with the possibility.
What think ye folks, and what suggestions would you offer? (C'mon now-be nice!!)
Thanks

If your departure dates are flexible...yes. Since you are leaving from the "cold" coast, watch for a decent weather forecast and take off. Once you get to Interstate 10 you have a good chance of a pleasant ride.

I've made this ride several times and have mostly had good riding. Just remember that icy roads are possible for most of your journey and plan for later starts if indicated.

:? with the way the weather is acting up i would suggest late spring instead. Or head to Mexico instead.

You move back to Texas? :?: :?: :eek:4: Seriously tho, your offer is much appreciated. If we go l suspect a more southern route would be wiser :22yikes: . Merry Christmas :xmas1: to you and your family J.P.
