Have a chance to pick up a set of Cobra pipes for my wing.

Will they cause any problems with engine, timeing and or settings.?

txs for your help.

:agree: Make sure it comes with everything. Other than that, enjoy. I liked mine quite a bit, but I got too old for the noise. ;)

Put them on start the bike and let it idle for about 5 minutes..And the fuel injection will reset itself for the pipes..Had mine on for over a year now and they are just starting to sound better than the stock..Nice little rumble...

Some will say aftermerket pipes makes things really warm in the side compartments. Others say they have a hesitation or flat spot on acceleration just after startup for the first moment or so. The flat spot shows up if you startup and go into a turn almost immedeatly. It may be something that only happens on newer GL1800s.
