Not much recent activity on this thread as of late. Tho't I'd "bump" it up.

I ride with a few other Wing, HD, Concours riders from time to time. The 4 of us get together about once a month for a ride, and maybe another with just one of them. The rest of the time I ride solo. At least once a weekend.

I really like riding ! Been riding for many years. I have a 2001 Wing I bought new, and a 2010 C14 Concours ... which is highly modified. I like them both, but tend to favor the Wing.

I'd be interested in getting together with some other riders in CT, MA, RI and riding to lunch/ice cream, yada, yada on weekends. I also like longer rides of 3-5 days, too. Destination is not a problem.

We should get together for some rides before the snow flies. I do ride all year 'round with electrics, but prefer warmer weather thru November.

What do you all say?

We have a group of Wing's riding down to Fort Trumbull tomorrow morning with a lunch stop at Sunset Ribs. Leaving from MacDonald's in Cromwell off I-91 Exit 21 promptly at 9 a.m.

Come out and join us!

Appreciate the invite. Just finished watching the local weather for CT-land.

If the rain seems to be delayed, I'll be there. But, if it's going to be a rainy morning ... I'll take a 'rain check'.

Did errands this AM ... then did some riding close to home as it sprinkled here in central CT-land. Got back just before it rained buckets here.

Followed some HD riders in the pouring rain ... no rain gear, no helmets, just their "colors". Dudes were wet to the bone and the guy on the Sporty at the end had no rear light and bald rear tire. Interesting to watch him in the corners.

Fort Trumbull Ride

We had a great ride to the fort today which is rich with history. One of the hidden gems of Connecticut. Warm and humid but a great time was had by all. The food at Sunset Ribs was worth a return ride!
