I am thinking of going cordless for the audio on the wing. Is there a product that is bluetooth that will handle stereo music and intercom. Basically the same functiions that a cord will handle.

If so, does anyone use this unit and how is the performance.

Thanks in advance for your honest opinions on performance and price.

Thanks Bartman.

Darn, thats a pretty big dongle hanging off the helmet. By what I read, it will connect to other bt devices, but not to the wings audio system. I run all my audio output ie: radar detector, gps and xm thru a kennedy device and out the cord.

Plus at $300 per helmet, a lost or stolen helmet might cost in the $600-800 range to replace. I can deal with the delay in transmission, but not the fact that it might disconnect at any time and have to be paired again.

Oh well, it was a thought. I guess I'll just keep dealing with the cords. I just got to remember to plug them back in before taking off. That way I won't be riding down the road yelling "can ya hear me now", or dismounting and walking away from the bike still hooked up. It does get some lafs at the gas islands.:joke:

Thanks again.
