Thanks the ones for Piaa bar mounts are 1" 1/4 Guess I will keep looking.

Now, where am I ever going to find 1.002" mounts for anything... :joke:

I'll put the .002 down to trying to hold the calipers in my left hand and focus and hold a rather heavy DLSR in my right.
