I know what you mean. I had the same awakening yesterday morning here in Tacoma. The day before that, Wednesday, was a beautiful spring day. Today, just lumpy rain and cold. Supposed to be a lot better during this coming work week.

Rode up to Cabela's (very busy place today) in Marysville this morning, nice ride. Upper 30s when I left but heated gear and the Shoei NeoTec ll makes it all good. Everett Powersports had a good handful of customers in clothing and parts, thankfully. I was surprised how busy the Tulalip Casino was as I rode past. Weather looks pretty nice ahead.

Weather in Vancouver WA has been absolutely beautiful this week hi 60's/mid 70's and looks like that pattern will continue for the next 10 days. I've been doing yard work for the last 3 days cleaning things up after all the rain that we've had so now that I've got that done I may have to sneak away on some rural roads for a little wind therapy. ;) It's been quite some time since I've been on the bike given the weather/rain and now with Covid-19 I may have to get out my manual to instruct me on the starting procedure. :D
I hope all you forum members are surviving the "shelter in place" and most of all staying healthy.

I see many more motorcycles on the road now than I ever have. Before Covid-19, a ride to coast would produce a handful of motorcycles to wave at. Now, my waving hand gets tired after about 30 miles. We pack food and drink so the only place we come in contact with people is at the gas stations and also take many precautions while filling up. Sometimes you just gotta get out of the house. Ditto on everyone staying healthy.

I see you are in Yelm. Yup, been seeing lots of motorcycles on the road. Wednesday and Thursday were awesome riding days. Friday too but had chores to take care of.

Lots of people not working because of Covid-19 so that means lots of riders with time on their hands.

Went through Roy, Yelm, Tenino, and so many other towns in my area the last few days (live in Spanaway). I was most likely one of those that you waved at. Went by Scotty B's to check the damage to the restaurant. Wednesday night there was an accident caused by a police car. Got pictures. Not much damage. Was boarded up.

Been thinking about gong up to Mt St Helens or even taking a trip to Skagit Valley to see the tulips, all solo rides with drinks and munchies in the trunk.

Oh my. I've stopped at Scotty B's many times. Very unique place and darn good malts.
Very possible we did cross paths.

That went away years ago. Too many complaints about noise. You know the drill.. idiots move in and know the noise is there so they get a break on the price of the property. After they move in, they complain about the noise and get the place shut down. Asshats all....
