1. The Cripple Creek & Victor Railroad in Cripple Creek. A 3/4 hour ride on a two foot narrow gauge railroad.

2. Ride the loop to Victor. Lots of mining history.

3. Ride through Guffy down to the Royal Gorge. Highest suspension bridge in North America.

4. Pike's Peak

5. Cripple Creek - Divide - Woodland Park - Pine - Bailey - Fairplay - Hartsel - Cripple Creek. South Park City in Fairplay is interesting.

Have Fun!

I'll be here: http://www.coloradorangeriders.com/ Ride in July. Met these fine folks in July 2003 when I had a VTX. This will be my 9th years to go. Good people, excellent rides and food. :) NO frills, NO vendors etc. Just people who like to ride in Colorado, eat and visit.

You could ride Gold Camp Road.....!

We did that about 20 years ago. It was a railroad track that ran around the backside of Pikes Peak, from Cripple Creek to Colorado Springs.

It was awesome to see, but it took five and a half hours to go 35 miles!
The road was washboarded and gravel.....

I was beginning to wonder if we were going to make it to civilization before dark.... we just made it.

Do a search....

We were there in 1978 on our New GL1800 and it was really a neat place. All the old stores, hardware etc were there on main street. On the south side of town was the "Red Light" district. And of coures the narrow gage RR to Victor and back.
Was there again in 1998 in the cage and all the store fronts were restored and every store was then Slot machines.
We turned around and left.
