Have an 09 1800 and am having trouble getting it to set on a speed. Every once in a while it will set but not very often. When it does set and I hit any bump it cuts off. Any ideas

mileage ?

It's probably popping off because either the clutch switch or brake switch is turning it off. Common problems that cause this are aftermarket levers or worn lever piviot bolts. Are aftermarket levels being used? Does the clutch lever have more then 3/8" up and down movement?

:agree: Agree with above. Also make sure you're not accidentally tapping or pushing on rear brake lever while riding. I've got a buddy who's foot position tends to end up on the lever. I get on the cb and let him know his brake lights are on.
