I've put about 18k miles on my Yoko darkside tire. While it has a fair amount of rubber left I have two cross country rides coming up this year so I am going to change out the CT for a newer CT.

I am happy with the Yoko - but am wondering if any darkside riders who have ridden on the Yoko and switched to another brand/model and thought - wow - this is better than the Yoko. If yes, what did you switch to?

I am also leaning towards going to the 175 vs 195 to see if there is any difference in the handling.

Thanks!

I wore out 3 Yoko avid envigor runflats, then switched to Drivegaurd, wore out one and a half, wrecked the second one on something on the road. I preferred the drivegaurd at 26 to 28 psi, lots of twisties and mountains it is excellent. I now have read a lot about the Pirelli centurato so going to try one of them. Over all the drivegaurd is the best handling tire I've used thus far. I've been running DS for about 10 years
