Last month I changed my rear tire (Michelin Alpin) and installed a Bridgestone 704. The Bridgestones are great tires. The combo of the 704/709 is hard to beat. While on a local GWRRA Sunday with my son I picked up a nail in my rear tire. I was lucky to make it home.
I decided to go with the Yokohama Avid ZPS and all I can say is WOW! This tire is awesome. I like it much better than the Alpin when it comes to corners. It just seems to handle better than the Alpin. The ride is far better that a MC tire. The Yoko handles bumps much better and is a better over all riding experience. I can assure I will never fall off the Darkside Wagon again!!
