That ( problem ) was an odd one. Thanks for the heads-up !! I'm sure you were saying, like I'm sure I would have also, *** is going on ?? Sometimes these electronics can be tricky/finicky. Sometimes a small thing like that ( kickstand ) escapes you when it pops up unexpectedly.

Excellent video and suggestion. Several owners have experienced the sudden unexpected stall including myself. Fortunately, it seems to be something that happens once or twice and early on. I have over 21,000 miles and believe it happened before I hit 1500 mile and not since.

We had a discussion about this before as it happened to me. On my previous Wings I would always shut down in gear and then turn my key off so I was doing the same thing with my DCT and I did what he described in the video to get it working again. In the shop manual (not the owners manual) it mentions this very occurrence so Honda is aware of it and it seems to be the nature of the beast. I try and remember to always shut down in neutral.
