But it wasn't ABS, NAV was it?

FYI..... I sold my '08 ABS last year for $16k, but it only had 20,000 miles on it. The one you're looking at is way overpriced because of the high miles!

Looking

I'm still looking,I know everybody overestimates the actuall value and want to to get top dollar for ther ride. My budget tells me $14000 is a lot of money for a toy. So I will keep looking

There are a lot of low mileage wings on the market right now. Check e-bay and craigslist, and your local clubs.

If the owner is willing to negotiate, maybe you want to print out the responses in this post and show it to him . . .

I it was my checkbook.

Between $13,500 and $14,000, depending on the condition. Scratches and rock chips maybe even $13,000. Yes, GLs are good for high miles, but there is a cost to those miles.

Here's my opinion. Most of us have to finance a new bike, or new to us. If you're financing, calculate your monthly payment on the used bike. Next, find the best deal you can on a new one that meets your needs and calculate the monthly payment. Then decide if the difference between new versus used is something you can afford. If not, then go with used.
