Did you ever lose one of these?

It goes in here if you know what this is..

Well, if you have some left over scraps of hose... a couple of short pieces work great as a substitute for the part you might have lost..
.. they are working in "compression" so two short pieces are VERY strong
(and a lot cheaper.. cheap is good .. lol ...)

Like these:

Just cut them to length and they'll fit right in..
I've even used them to raise the Kury's higher if you've run the adjuster nuts up all the way but it's still not high enough..

..Looks like this after you stuff them in:

.. sorry for the poor pic quality.. but you get the idea...

hope that helps someone else..

I'll have to remember that. Mine are adjusted to its limits and I can see that happening to me.
Almost lost one yesterday, Thanks for the tip Dennis
thanks dennis nice idea lost one back last year and it wasn't cheap to replace I had to buy complete hardware kit:eek:4:
Thank you..
wasn't cheap to replace I had to buy complete hardware kit:eek:4:
and that's how I became "inventive"..

I purchased some used hwy pegs off the board and when I got them those little plugs were missing..
.. I asked about them but seller didn't ever remember seeing them..

So.. a couple of scraps of hose work just as well..
.. not "adjustable" like the OEM, but for the price difference, I can live without the adjustment

Darn, I hope I haven't lost mine. Last time I looked, it was the only thing left on my Kury's that hadn't peeled or rusted. :eek:4:

You could contact Kuryakyn and they will probably sell you just the parts you need.
