Really poor welds on the frame of the first bikes to come out of the new
and "improved" factory in Japan.

How a weld looks and how a weld holds are two different things. Until someone does an X-ray on them, then who knows how they are. Now, from a "how does it look" standpoint, well, there is no argument.

True, but in the looks dept if HD can make complete, smooth, and full
welds like on my NRS (please ignore the dirt) why can't Honda, especially
if the weld is "in your face" like these are on the Fury's neck ?

I remember the welds on my old NT650's aluminum frame, looked like a prefectly lined up row of nickles,
they could do it if they cared about quality control. Looks like not much is going to change with the
new factory.
