If you took the bike to a dyno and ran it in each of the modes would the dyno figures be the same? I ran my DCT in ECON and manual shift mode the other day and did a brief WOT run and the bike felt just as fast as sport mode but maybe my butt dyno is out of calibration.

When I first got the bike I thought I could tell a difference in the exhaust sound when it was placed in rain mode. I thought it might be pulling timing but later I wasn't sure there is any difference in sound.

I'm fairly certain that the fuel and ignition timing maps for all the modes is identical in the ECM. The modes just change the electronic throttle control maps in the ECM and the shifting parameters in the TCM.

By the way, I'm pretty sure that the ECM does have different fuel and timing maps for each mode, but it's just that all the maps are identical. So I believe the ability is there to fine tune timing and fuel for each mode if you wanted to.

From mode to mode, I doubt your dyno readings will be the same. Controlling the timing and fuel can greatly affect performance and horse power.
