I have never been to Oklahoma that I can recall, but I do remember taking a highway southbound along the Salton Sea in CA back in the mid 80's while I was driving big rig cross country. It was very similar to this picture , only it seemed to have many more telephone poles along the side of it and the rolling hills up and down seemed to never end. I was on my way to deliver a 1/2 trailer load of Vermont Casting woodstoves to a destination in Julian, CA.

That's not too far from @bbalzer maybe he knows.

I haven't been there. I just saw this on Facebook yesterday and marked it. I will find out soon. It is 118 miles straight south of me. I'm betting it's not as good as the photo makes it look. The photo looks like it was taken with a pretty high power telephoto lens which really exaggerates things. If weather allows, I might be able to go there Saturday :)

Using MapSource, I found NS3660 that runs north and south, but no NS366.

Maps.google clearly shows that NS366 road running N/S near that town, but it is as straight as an arrow. I'll bet that once you clear the 6 or 7 ups & downs depicted in that photo, your ride is over, and as I recall my last ride on any roller coaster, they have curves as well as the ups & downs.

There's a stretch of MO 76 hwy running from Anderson, MO and westward towards MO 43 that has as many ups & downs as shown here. Also, I frequent a great stretch of MO roadway called MO hwy F, in Barry County Missouri that runs from MO 86 westward into the back side of the Roaring River State Fish Hatchery and ends there on MO hwy 112. It not only has the ups & downs, it also has the curves. WARNING: that stretch of hwy F promotes speed violations each and every time it is traversed, IMHO.

It's amazing how a long telephoto lens can distort the image, even without Photoshop. The road may exist just like that and not be nearly so whoop-de-do-y in real life. Though it still could be pretty good.

wow! that road does indeed look like fun...............Does it even compare to the Tail of the Dragon?
I'm taking a trip to the Tail of The Dragon in June 17th...........Try'd going there twice already and never made it... third time is a charm (I hope) This time on a trike'd out Goldwing!

Well... I'm not saying it does, or doesn't exist... I just have a hard time believing it exists in the state shown.

Pretty sure they wouldn't allow passing right after each crest of each hill, especially with such short valley's. Kind of hard to see oncoming traffic... don't ya think?

It may very well be a trick of the "lens" as folks above are discussing.

I could not imagine that it was as good as the article and pictures describe.
If it was so wonderful about everyone that rides a motorcycle would have heard about it.
Just like the Dragon.

I'll try to get there in the next week or so and take some pics. Will need to be on a Saturday or Sunday and I have to fly to Dallas on Sunday for Spring American Petroleum Association (API) meeting. In fall it in Washington DC. I've been there and done that.

Try Hwy 19 Alton to Winona Missouri for a roller coaster ride on smooth pavement.

I have found very few good roads in OK . If they knew how to pave or repair they could have some great rides.

Thanks for all the replies. Let me know when you have a chance to check it out bbalzer. My wife found the picture online but I figured if it were that good I would have heard of it by now. I decided to post here cause I thought if anyone would know it would be you guys.

If weather is "decent", I'll try to run down there Saturday. The Wing is begging to get out for a ride. :)

I agree. That why I try to go to NW Arkansas 3 or 4 or 6 or more times a year. I like campground near Marshall pretty well or Mulberry CG on PigTrail.
