I have the Kuryakyn driving lights installed on my '06. The problem I have is that the bulbs only seem to last a few months. Is this a common problem with these lights? Or is there a good bulb choice that doesn't die so quickly? If so where can I get them?

Also, has anyone tried using the 55w bulbs in the Kuryakyn housings? Any problems or concerns with the 55w bulbs? It seems that the 55w bulbs are available locally and I have to order the 35w bulbs.

Thanks in advace!

Cheap chinese made bulbs You were lucky they lasted a day
Mine lasted a week then I replaced with a set from a local auto store

35W is what I used as I heard there might be a heat problem with the 55W dunno but I did not want to melt any plastic

My replacements are over a year old now and still working fine

I had the same problem the OEM bulbs burned out in 6 months. I sent Kuryakyn an email complaining and they sent me new bulbs free of charge. Those replacement 35w bulbs have lasted almost 2 years and I'm keeping my fingers crossed they'll keep going. I thought replacing the bulbs was far more diffucult than it should have been.
