There is a newspaper article that is claiming because of El nino we will set a new high temp record for the year 2007. I guess we all will be working on keeping cool this up coming summer.

Record warmth,my butt! It was 38 yesterday morning in Burbank,CA as I was watching the B-2 and pair of F-22's escorting it circle overhead for the Rose Parade flyover at 8am...........someone needs to pull their head out and look again.

Chuck, the article was in the New York Times. It is real easy to read a lot of newspapers around the country by going to the Drudge report.

OK, guys, sorry about slammin Drudge. That's the kind of unilateral single minded opinion I deal with pretty much every day with the guys I work with. I do recognize that he does a fine job of diggin up the latest dirt, much of which the subjects would prefer remain hidden. There's value there for sure. I've just got one on for right wing media commentators, feel like they have driven some recent public policies that have landed our country in hot water.
