I replace and install my own tires. Question - Are the E3's any easier to install than the D250's? Thanks ! Mike700 / Oak Park, IL :?:

From what i have heard the E3 sidewall is stiffer which may make it harder to install.

I change my own tires and the D250 were about as hard to remove as the E3 was to put on.

What's really different is that the E3 really sings. I do have 11k and 13k on the rear and front tires and they've got lots of miles left on them.

'stones are going on at the next change. They also appear to have pretty rigid sidewalls.

From what my mechanic tells me the E3's are a lot harder to put on because of the stiff sidewall,,,he says they fit so snug before they are aired up that if the tire is to heavy on one side and requires repositioning the tire on the rim he says it has to come back off for the reposition instead of just turning it to a new location because it's so snug,,,,,,,
Good luck and ride safe

I've mounted Bridgestones, Dunlop 250's and now E3's. All are about the same in my opinion.
