No issues. Just harder to clean and have that stay cleaned look rather than chrome.

 

For sun fade, my 2018 looks fine...garage kept.

For cleaning, I agree with @TPL ....but unlike chrome, takes less post wash wipe down and doesn't show every spec and spot (I have a HD Dyna with chrome...takes longer to clean the Dyna than the Wing)

If it is a big concern, Cerakote is the best trim product. I've used it on my truck and been extremely pleased.

Thanks for the reply, you have touched upon my main concern, whether the black engine etc retains its “blackness “ and doesn’t fade.

 

Chipping is another concern at least in the 2020 models on top of the housing where the spark plugs are. Around the seal of the top piece to the side piece is the area in question. I only kkkw of this happening to 2020 models.

15k on mine easier to clean than chrome and looks like new.
