On my ride into work the other morning, I noticed my e/c driving lights dimming and coming back to full brightness. I was using my heat troller at the time and the on and off dimming matched the pulse of the heat troller.
I'm running a e/c power block and ground block. my battery is 21/2 years old and always put on a tender when parked. I only noticed this while I was at idle speed. Any thoughts.

Take your battey out and have it checked. The alternator is putting out the least amount of current at idle, so you are tapping into the battery for current when the alternator is not getting the job done.

I would say your battery is on its way south. The alternator does not start charging until 2k RPM'S. It reaches full charging capacity at 2400 RPM'S, which is 1KW of power.

I would think that's what's cooked your battery.
