Gonna be a long emotional rollercoaster this weekend...2 PGR funerals and 1 welcome home mission and celebration. I'm going to cry Saturday AM, smile and laugh Saturday afternoon/evening, then cry again Sunday afternoon.

I pray for safety and the ability to ease a families grief, if only for a moment, before I leave, then hug my kids when I get home from each 'mission'.

Damn war...

Everybody ride safe this weekend and say a prayer for those who've given some and those who gave all.

Thanks,

Jess (Twyn)

Just read a story in the Navy Times about a Hospital Corpsman serving with the Marines who was killed along with two of his buddies by an IED. The story didn't say anything about the PGR, but the picture showed his mother hugging one of the riders.

I'm a member of the PGR, but have yet to participate in a mission due to work schedule.
Hopefully I'll get to do my part soon.
