If needing to build a 5th gen engine shipping crate, this is how this one was built. It was then bolted to a 40" x 48" pallet. Engines should always be shipped dry. Shipping weight is 410lbs and NMFC/class is 85. This one is being shipped to MD. A lift gate is required on both ends, and the one-way shipping cost using R&L Transfer is about $390.
