I have a 2006 Wing with the built in GPS. I can use it well but can't seem to find a way to enter a waypoint with lat & long. I can only enter destinations from the data base. Is there any way I can do this? Thanks.

No you cannot enter way points using lat/lon. This is one of the long list of limitations of this GPS system. It is great for finding an address or a location that you have already been to and marked. This is one of my major complaints. If I want to go somewhere that is not in the database then there is no way to enter it in the GPS. For basic navigation and entry level users it is OK. BUT?

Cheers.

I realize now that lat and long can't be entered. If you pan the map and zoom in on the spot you want I think you can click on the arrow and make that spot a destination. Streets are OK in the data base but if you want a farm house along a rural road you just have to WING it.....
Thank you for your replies.
