hey guys,,,i forgot what key at wally world to get to make extra keys for the gas lid an right glove box..found the wife an on GL1800 an we need to make them for her cause i got'em on mine...you know how wives are...
any help appreciated,,,asap!!

Does this #27 key differ from the ignition key? Do you leave it in the locked storage compartment all of the time? Not sure I understand the reason for the "additional" key. Thanks

OK, imagine this...you're riding down the road (obviously the ignition key is in the ignition) and you want to open the right fairing pocket. What do you do?

By making the "key knobs" as illustrated in Fred's instructions, problem solved.

Bart, I am a little slow. IF you forgot the key and left it in the compartment door, will it work in the ignition? Where would I find the knob site you speak of...thanks

Look up at my FIRST response. In case you have trouble finding that (maybe from eating too much turkey yesterday), here is the link again:

No, once you make these, they will NOT work in the ignition. They would be too short. They are made to work in the gas filler door and the right fairing pocket.
