Good article, so my old school understanding of amp power measurement is not what Honda used and 80 W per channel is a stretch.
What I was looking for was the measurement standard I was used to. Which would have looked something like this 80 watts per channel continuous RMS [email protected] 90db S/N ratio less than 1% THD all channels driven. There may be more than 22 watts at any given time, but does it meet the above criteria is what I was trying to find out.I'm not going to argue with what Larry says, because I don't know enough.
But, here are some o'scope pics of my 2013 in action blasting away. There is a lot more than 22 watts of power there.
