I would start with an ecm reset. Start it from cold, don't touch the throttle at all. Let it run long enough for the cooling fans to kick on once.

From what I read that would adjust the idle speed. If that doesn't fix it then (from my automotive experience) you have an idle speed controller failure or some kind of vacuum leak maybe.

More experienced people here might chip in and tell you I'm off base.. Listen to them. ;)

What year? Miles? If new the dealer should have done the ECM procedure to setup the idle parameters.

ECU not getting a temp sensor code, probably a dealer issue.

Year and milage is important here. Cables getting sticky/freying, maybe a bad CC adjustment, throttle grip resistance, or have aftermarket hand grips been installed? Does the throttle snap closed? It will do no good resetting anything untill those are eliminated.
